The Planned Fulginiti Pavilion for Ethics and Humanities

The Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado Denver is the first all-new academic health center of the 21st century. In the coming decades, its state-of-the-art research facilities will advance medicine in unimaginable ways. We all have a stake in these advances since they will impact our lives and our community.

The Fulginiti Pavilion for Bioethics and Humanities will be an oasis for reflection, inspiration and deliberation about these discoveries, discoveries sure to generate some of the most pressing moral health care issues of our time. Just like scientists need laboratories, we need specialized space for ethics and the humanities in order to elevate and address the community’s aspirations and concerns about health care. This will help insure not just a bright, but a responsible and compassionate future for our health care system. That is the driving vision behind this vital project.
