The relocation of the University of Colorado at Denver and
Health Sciences Center to the Fitzsimons campus offers the
unique opportunity to create the premier academic health sciences
center of the 21st century. Seizing this opportunity will
require bold and creative thinking in order to forge new alliances
between the University and its public, foster collaboration
among the health professions, the disciplines which shape
them, and those whom they serve, and invigorate the health
sciences enterprise with imagination and moral circumspection.
The planned Fulginiti Pavilion for Ethics and Humanities will
be a landmark facility at Fitzsimons, enabling the University
of Colorado to lead the nation in integrating ethical deliberation
into health care education, delivery, and research.
This project was originally conceived by and is currently supported by the Advisory Board and Faculty of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities at the Univeristy of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center.
The planned Fulginiti Pavilion for Ethics and Humanities will contain a Forum, gallery space, and office and seminar spaces.
