Shirley Fulginiti
Shirley Fulginiti is a founding member of
the Advisory Board for the Center for Bioethics and Humanities
of the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences
Center. She is an active community volunteer with special
interests in the arts, education and the well-being of women
and children. She is a former nurse, whose long service to
the UCHSC included the HSC Fitzsimons Development Committee,
Co- Chair of the Historical Preservation Committee of the
Fitzsimons Reuse Authority, and a member of the Bridge to
the Future Gala Committee. She has served on the Committee
for Education and Outreach of the Central City Opera Company,
and volunteered for Museo De Las Americas, the Denver Main
Library, and the Colorado Symphony. She served as President
of the Metro Denver Medical Society Alliance for 1999-2000.
Mrs. Fulginiti currently lives in Tucson where she is an alumna
of the University of Arizona. She is a life member of Girls,
Inc. and a Board Member for the Steele Memorial Children's
Research Center at the University of Arizona Health Sciences
Center. She serves as a Board Member of the Invisible Theatre
and is a Board Member of the Women's Studies Advisory Committee
at the University of Arizona. The Fulginitis also live part
of each year in Denver
