Perry Butterfield

Perry Butterfield is retired faculty, Univ. of Colorado Medical School, Dept. of Psychiatry where she is a Research Psychologist in the field of early childhood. Her focus is the emotional development of children. She is consultant and author for infant mental healthand parenting issues. Perry has also been on the Board of Planned Parenthood, Denver and was one of the founders and Exec. Director of The Women's Environmental Coalition. She served on the Board of Colorado State Trails and maintains a close relationship with Aspen Camp School for the Deaf. Perry's programs for parent child interaction have led to professional collaborations in Russia, Croatia, Israel, Japan and Argentina. She continues to publish and lecture on infant mental health issues in the US and has visited colleagues in Turkey, China, India, Jordan, and Kenya as well as throughout Europe.
