Maude Lofton
Maude Brown Lofton,MD is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Ga., and the University of Florida College of Medicine. She has been a member of the clinical faculty of the University of Florida, Howard University, Washington, DC, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Louisville. She served on the Admissions Committee for the University of Fla. and the University of Alabama Colleges of Medicine. She received training in the area of Child Development while at the University of Alabama and developed a focus on children with disabilities and a special interest in Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Dr. Lofton has won numerous community awards and accolades for her work with low income children and their families and medical outreach programs. She and her family moved to Denver five years ago and she has not practiced since her move. She is married to Kevin E. Lofton, CEO of Catholic Health Initiatives, the second largest Catholic Hospital System in the country which and headquartered in downtown Denver. They have two children, Kevin Russell and Johanna, a.k.a., "JoJo."
