Margaret Cunningham
Margaret Cunningham has been a mainstay Denver volunteer throughout her life in the community. Along with her work for the Center for Bioethics and Humanities, her current board commitments include the Boy Scouts of America, the Friends Foundation of the Denver Public Library, and the Judicial Advisory Council of the Colorado Supreme Court. She is recognized by fans of Public Television Channel 6 as an on-air spokesperson, and has served on the National Board of the Public Broadcasting System. She also was a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Lawyer Trust Account Foundation, and served on the Rose Hospital Foundation Board and the auxiliary service at Sewall Rehabilitation Center. Within her own community, Margaret has served as Chair of the City of Cherry Hills Village Planning and Zoning Commission, but her wide-ranging metropolitan service organizations also include Opera Colorado, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, and the Denver Zoo. In addition to her many civic activities, Margaret has her own fashion merchandising business. She graduated with a BA in history from the University of Oklahoma, and has been recognized in Who's Who of American Women and with awards from the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Judicial Institute, and the Pacific Mountain Network.
