Advisory Board History and Role: It is vital that the Center's work be sensitive to the larger community's aspirations and concerns regarding health care. That is why the Center established a community based Advisory Board in 1996. Membership on the Board is approaching 30, and the Board has been very successful in collaborating with Center faculty to establish the Center's strategic plan, expand its funding, and improve and increase its work.
