Evi Bachrach Makovsky, JD, MSW

Evi Bachrach Makovsky, JD, MSW, is an attorney and social worker. She teaches as an adjunct professor at UCHSC in Ethics and Health Professions and is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. She co chairs the Ethics Board at National Jewish Center and is involved in reviewing medical ethical issues and developing new policies in medical ethics. Among her many community service activities, Evi is a Trustee and on the executive board of the Denver Campus for Jewish Education, on the board of Allied Jewish Federation, on the board of the Women's Bean Project and a Trustee with the Colorado Symphony. Evi has been a member of the Center for Bioethics and Humanities since 2003 and is Chair of the advisory board.
