Anita Sanborn

Anita Sanborn is the President of the Colorado Episcopal Foundation which provides financial services, investment management, education and training in the areas of stewardship, planning giving, and planning for new ministry development for Episcopal congregations. Anita is the current chair of the Porter Hospice Foundation Board and is a director of the American Friends of the Episcopal Church of Sudan. Among her community service activities, Anita is an adivsor to the Sudanese refugee community in Denver. She has traveled to Chad/Darfur and to Southern Sudan to deliver humanitarian aid and to develop health and environmental projects and works to raise public awareness about the Sudan. Anita holds a Master's degree from the Andrew Young School of Public Policy and has spent her career in the not for profit sector where she worked intensively on maternal and child health issues, aging and long term care. Anita held executive positions with the Alzheimer's Association for 15 years. She has been a member of the Center for Bioethics & Humanities Advisory Board since 2003.
